What should I do before my first appointment?
Before your first visit, it’s helpful to complete your new patient forms and fill out your dental and medical history, including insurance information if applicable. If you don’t complete your new patient forms at home, please plan to arrive an additional 10-15 minutes early to have adequate time to do so in our lobby. You can also prepare a list of any questions, concerns, or symptoms so your dentist can provide the most personalized care during your initial appointment.

How long will my first appointment take?
First appointments typically last between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs and the treatments being planned. During this visit, we will review your dental and medical history, perform a thorough exam, take any necessary X-rays, and discuss a personalized care plan. This allows us to get a complete picture of your oral health as well as answer any questions you may have for us.
My child is anxious about their first visit, what can I do?
It’s normal for children to feel nervous about visiting a new dentist. You can help by speaking positively about the appointment, offering them children’s books about going to the dentist, or practicing calming techniques at home. Letting your child know what to expect and staying relaxed yourself can make a big difference. Our team would be happy to give your child a quick tour of our office, and we always explain our treatments and methods in kid-friendly terms to help children feel comfortable and informed.
